dr. Cynthia Hervatic

With more than 17 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Cynthia Hervatic brings a depth of expertise and genuine compassion to every patient she treats. A native of New Jersey, Dr. Hervatic graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in English and worked as a news producer at MSNBC before pursuing her true passion. She completed her prerequisites at UCLA before graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in California. Her training includes a competitive internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA. Dr. Hervatic’s clinical interests include preventative and palliative care, nutrition, dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, wine tasting, and running the Santa Monica stairs – so she can cook some more! She lives with her dog SMITTY and cats JENKINS & RINGO.  Smitty is an avid sock stealer (and hides them), cat wrestler, and snuggler. Jenkins is a master fetcher, dog food aficionado, and thorough butter knife cleaner. Ringo is an inspiration on 3 legs, fearless! All 3 sunbathe, nap, and play the days away while their mom cares for other animals.
